Mentoring Programme
The chosen vocations of our Alumni are reflected in the quality and success of many of CGS past students. With the breadth and depth of the CGS Alumni community, the School knows that there is a wealth of knowledge and expertise that could help prepare our more recent graduates.
The CGS Alumni Mentoring Programme establishes a network of mentors who are enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge and expertise with recently graduated (or even not so recently) CGS students. While the programme focuses on career and professional development and hopes to inspire future leaders and continuously harness talent in a comfortable and exciting environment, mentees might also seek a mentor for advice on investments, starting a business, or establishing themself post-school or university.
The School has partnered with The Mentor Evolution, a global mentoring programme solution designed to connect and grow people, so that we can connect our broader community, who hold years of experience and knowledge with graduated students who might be early to mid-way through their career and life journey. The programme not only allows a ‘give back’ but also the opportunity to develop and strengthen the relations between past students of different generations.
The programme not only allows a ‘give back’ but also the opportunity to develop and strengthen the relations between past students of different generations.
As a mentor, we hope that you might be interested in taking the opportunity to connect with another generation of CGS alum/community and impart your wisdom, learnings and experiences; to help them become ready for the world. As a mentee, we hope that you will draw on the expertise of the CGS community for professional and career development.
The Alumni Mentoring Programme has a network of mentors across industries, including the military, legal services, healthcare, hospitality, real estate, banking and finance, media and communications, education, entrepreneurship and small business, and science and engineering.
